3D CAD Designer (CREO) - Fluid Systems

Contract: Full-time, Contract
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Leicestershire
Rate: £30.48 per hour PAYE + Holiday and Pension
Hours: 8am to 4pm - Monday to Friday - Fully on site.
The Opportunity:

Join our clients technical team as a Fluid Lines Designer, where you will create innovative solutions for leading construction site equipment and small vehicles. Designing fluid line installations for hydraulic oil, engine coolant, and air conditioning refrigerant, ensuring they meet functional and technical requirements. The successful applicant will collaborate with global teams and suppliers to develop new designs for production while meeting quality, speed, and cost targets. Coordinate design changes with sales, marketing, product development, supply chain, and manufacturing throughout the engineering lifecycle. Communicate design progress to stakeholders through presentations and reports.

What You Need:

• Proficiency in 3D CAD, preferably CREO.
• Experience with engineering data management systems e.g. Teamcenter.
• Strong analytical skills to solve problems and develop creative solutions.
• Ability to convert customer needs into actionable product specifications.
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn in a diverse, global team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree or HND in an applicable field e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering or Industrial Design with 5 years plus experience in 3D CAD.
• Previous engineering experience in construction equipment, engines, industrial systems of production lines with fluid systems in manufacturing.
