You will need to have a driving license and car. No sponsorship is available!

Some suppliers are great at pretending they’ve got everything under control.
You know better.
You’re the person who spots what others don’t and has the tact to call it out and get it fixed.

The job

This food business works with third-party manufacturers and suppliers. Your job is to make sure those companies live up to the brand’s standards legally, operationally, and reputationally.

Not just box-ticking. Actual oversight.

You’ll lead supplier audits, close out actions, review specs, analyse microbiological data, and make sure what’s on the label is what’s actually in the product.

The business is growing, so you won’t be inheriting legacy red tape. Instead, you’ll have the space to set the tone especially when it comes to driving compliance without being a compliance robot.

What you’ll need

• Lead Auditor qualification (essential)
• HACCP Level 4
• A background in food manufacturing ideally in technical or supplier-facing roles
• Confidence to walk into a factory, ask hard questions, and build trust
• Experience with retailer standards, BRCGS, and all the usual suspects
• You’re comfortable reviewing specs, artwork, and micro data, not just completing audits
