7.5 tonne Driver

Job Description:

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are currently working with a successful client in the Langar area of Nottingham (NG13) that is rapidly expanding to recruit an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver with a warehousing background. This is a temporary to permanent position with chance for progression. 

About our Client:

Our client is a long established, family run company situated just outside Nottingham in Langar area. The combination of high quality, keenly priced products and traditional values lies at the heart of our clients success and we take pride in delivering a professional, super-efficient, yet friendly service to all of our customers. They are expanding and due to their success will be opening more warehouses and stores overseas.

Highlights and Benefits:

• £14.00 - £14.50 per hour (starting salary)
• Monday - Friday 
• Day shift - 6:30am - 15:00pm
• On the job training given
• Weekly pay whilst with the agency
• Overtime available at a premium rate
• Temporary to permanent placement for the right candidate 
• Overtime available 

Duties include:

• Heavy Lifting can be included up to 30kgs
• Droving a 7.5 tonne Vehicle 
• Delivery of items to customers
• Customer service and interaction
• Sales aspect to the role 
• Quality checking
• General Warehouse Duties

Essential

• Full Clean Driving Licence
• Warehouse Knowledge
• Van Driving Experience
