Role: 7.5 Ton Shunter Driver

Location: Derby (Primary Site: Wyvern Way, DE21)

Pay: £14 per hour

Shift: Day shift (TBC)

The Opportunity

We are seeking a professional and highly dependable 7.5t Driver for a long-term, dedicated contract in Derby. This isn't your typical multi-drop courier role; you will be working exclusively for a high-profile, sensitive client performing shuttle runs between local depots.

Due to the nature of the client’s operations, absolute confidentiality and discretion are non-negotiable requirements of the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Depot Shuttling: Operating back-and-forth runs primarily from the Wyvern Way depot to other local sites.

• Secure Transport: Ensuring all loads are handled with care and remaining with the vehicle as required by security protocols.

• Professional Conduct: Acting as a discreet representative of the company at all times.

• Vehicle Maintenance: Conducting daily walk-around checks and reporting any defects immediately.

Requirements

• License: Valid 7.5 Ton license with an up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card.

• Experience: Previous experience in shunting or local shuttle work is preferred.

• Attributes: Punctual, reliable, and capable of working independently without constant supervision.
