7.5ton Delivery Driver - £14.50ph - Immediate Start - Tamworth (B77)

Temporary to Ongoing Opportunity - Multi-Drop Deliveries of Catering Supplies

Join Pure Staff and work with one of our trusted, long-standing clients based in Tamworth. We're currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5ton Driver for a multi-drop delivery role, delivering catering supplies to hospitals, schools, restaurants, and other commercial kitchens.

Duties of the Role

• Driving a 7.5ton vehicle for daily deliveries
• Manual handling: handball involved, use of tail lift and pump truck
• Safely delivering palletised goods to multiple client sites
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Completing between 15-20 drops per day

What We're Looking For

• Full UK C1 (7.5ton) Licence, CPC and Digi card
• At least 12 months experience in a similar role
• No more than 6 points on licence
• Minimum age 25 (for insurance purposes)
• Comfortable with manual handling and offloading
• Good communication and customer-facing skills
• Must have Hi-Vis and Safety Boots

Shift & Pay Details

• 📅 Monday - Friday
• 🕠 Start time: 05:30AM
• 💷 £14.50 per hour (PAYE)
• ⏳ Minimum 8 hours pay guaranteed daily
• 🚛 Ongoing work with a view to permanent placement
