Salary; From £40,000 per annum
Shift; Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm and Friday 8:00am - 3:00pm
Location; Leicester, Leicestershire

Our client has an exciting opportunity to join their fast paced manufacturing company as an Account Manager. Our client, a specialist in manufacturing and powder coating steel components to the POS/ shop fit / Retail sectors are seeking an individual to strengthen their Sales Team to assist with delivering a seamless service to their client base.

The successful individual will be tenacious, confident, resilient and a go-getter with the ability to use their own initiative to meet set KPI’s, targets and SLA’s.

The Role;

• First point of contact for the customer, discuss their order in detail, recording the quotation accurately and ensuring attention to detail at all times

• Discuss options available to the customer (material, size, services)

• Estimating and quoting from initial to concept to design leaving site

• Present the quote to the customer and secure order

• Project manage each order to ensure the client is satisfied with the service received

• Attend regular meetings with the Head of Departments to ensure they are fully briefed on new projects and gain an update on progress of current orders

• Resolve complaints and handle any enquiries that come in

• Manage each order from initial call through to delivery, checking progress, liaising with departments and keeping in regular contact with the customer

• Identify opportunities for up selling

  Our Ideal Candidate;

• Knowledge in the POS/POP industry is advantageous, however not essential

•  Proficient in all Microsoft packages

• A sound knowledge of POS / Retail industry including metalworking process

• Excellent communication skills with the ability communicate at various levels

• Proactive individual who uses own initiative

• Highly organised and ability to drive projects forward to completion

• Resilient and capable of resolving complaints in a professional manner

• Enthusiastic, motivated and driven to succeed

• Experience in Project Management would be advantageous, however not essential
