We’re supporting a growing, reputable firm in hiring an Accountant to join their expanding team. This role offers autonomy, variety, and the chance to work directly with diverse clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Manage bookkeeping, reconciliations, journals, and adjustments
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and management accounts
• Assist with year-end accounts and financial reports
• Liaise directly with clients, HMRC, and external stakeholders
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and high-quality financial output

What We’re Looking For

• Background as an Accountant in practice or multi-client environment
• Strong experience with Xero or other cloud accounting software
• Solid understanding of VAT, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident communicator with client-facing experience
• Ideally AAT qualified / QBE / Part-qualified (ACCA/ACA)
