Accounts Assistant – Temporary ongoing

Colwick, Nottingham

Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm

£15.30 per hour

Job Brief

We are looking for a reliable Accounts Assistant to support our finance team with daily accounting tasks. You will be responsible for handling data entry, invoicing, payments, and basic financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, a good understanding of accounting principles.  

Duties

• Enter financial data into accounting systems
• Prepare and send customer invoices
• Process supplier invoices and payments
• Reconcile bank statements
• Manage petty cash and staff expenses
• Assist with payroll and employee records
• Help with VAT returns and tax paperwork
• Support monthly financial reporting
• Keep financial files and documents organized
• Provide general admin support to the finance team

Experience

• Previous experience within a accounts role
• Good excel knowledge
• Microsoft office knowledge
