What You’ll Need:

• Proven experience working in an accounting environment
• Strong ability to work independently with enthusiasm to expand a regional finance function
• Proactive mindset with a knack for identifying and implementing process improvements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders such as lenders, shareholders, suppliers, and authorities
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to develop insights and challenge explanations when needed

Ideal candidate:

• Prior experience with management accounting, VAT, CIS, and statutory accounts preparation
• Knowledge of accounting software like SUN Systems and ETB platforms
• Familiarity with audit processes and liaising with auditors and tax advisors
• Relevant accounting qualification or equivalent professional experience
• Previous exposure to finance functions within a project-based or corporate environment
• Ability to support financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance tasks
• Willingness to take on responsibilities such as minute-taking at project meetings and processing company secretarial documents
