Job Title; Accounts & HR Administrator
Salary; £15.00 to £18.00 per hour depending on experience
Shift; Office based hours Negotiable between 26-32 hours per week
Location; Wigston, Leicester
Our client is looking to recruit an Accounts & HR administrator to join their family run manufacturing facility based in Wigston.This is an excellent opportunity to forge a career with an established company to build strong relationships, liaise with the relevant operations and ensure the smooth running of the sales department.
The Accounts & HR Administrator Role;
- Process purchase invoices, ensuring alignment with goods received and purchase orders
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in coordination with procurement and warehouse teams
- Despatch sales orders and creating sales invoices
- Post daily banking transactions
- Handle staff expenses, and company credit card reconciliations
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to resolve finance and stock-related queries
- Ensure that the sales ledger debtors are within their credit limits and prompt payments are received
- Maintain and update employee records, databases and HR Systems
- Support onboarding and off boarding processes, preparing documentation and coordinating induction activities
- Handle general HR inquiries from employees and managers, providing timely and accurate information
- Assist with payroll preparation by collecting and verifying attendance, leave and other relevant data
- Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and data protection regulations
- Liaising with their external JR consultant when needed
- Provide regular employment reports to management as required
- Support the business in the recruitment of new employees
- Undertake any other duties required by the organisation for which you are skilled and able to undertake to ensure the smooth running of the business
- Support HR Projects and initiatives as needed
Our Accounts & HR Administrator Candidate;
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role is a must
- Proficient in using SAGE accounting software (or similar)
- Familiarity with accounts payable/receivable processes
- Computer literate (office 365, Excel / word / MS office)
- Construction materials / construction industry experience advantageous
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritise according to business needs.
