Hamilton Woods are working with an established, Leicester based client seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to join their growing finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Processing a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Matching, batching, and coding invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
- Preparing and processing payment runs
- Managing queries from suppliers and internal departments
- Supporting month-end close with relevant AP data
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
Role Requirements:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger role (1-2 years minimum)
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Confident using accounting systems (Sage, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-focused attitude
