Eaton Syalon are partnering with an Accountancy Practice in Ashby who are looking to recruit an Accounts Semi-Senior into their team. You’ll be joining a modern and progressive firm that values initiative and high-quality service.

As an Accounts Semi-Senior, you will work closely with the Accounts team and Associate Partner to deliver exceptional services to clients, while developing the skills and knowledge you need to thrive in your career.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and accounts for a range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies

• Ensure compliance with statutory deadlines and regulatory requirements

• Complete balance sheet reconciliations, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow statements

• Assist with the preparation and filing of VAT returns, corporate tax returns, and personal tax returns

• Identify potential tax planning opportunities and escalate to senior team members

• Liaise directly with clients to collect financial information, resolve accounting queries, and ensure efficient delivery of services

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using accounting software

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in financial records and reports

Candidate Profile:

• AAT qualified or equivalent professional qualification

• Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and Microsoft Excel

• Previous experience in an accounts environment

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Enthusiastic about personal and professional growth
