Accounts Senior / Client Manager

Job Description:

A modern and successful accountancy practice are seeking to hire into a key job position, based from their office in Burton upon Trent and ideally suited to an Accounts Senior or Client Manager, offering superb employment terms including:

• Salary will be highly competitive, a guide of circa £32,000 to £46,000 based on experience and qualifications seems sensible, but there may be some flexibility on these numbers for the right recruit.
• ACCA / ACA Qualified, or nearly qualified, AAT or qualified by experience will also be considered.
• Condensed working week available – 4 day working week on offer with full-time hours condensed into 4 days. All employees have the option of this or 5 days of lower than standard working hours at the same salary.
• 32 days holiday including bank holidays FTE, pro-rata accordingly across the four days.
• One day WFH and three days in the office.

The job description/brief:

As an Accounts Senior or Client manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for the delivery of accounts, tax, and wider services to clients across varied industries and turnovers.
• Producing statutory accounts for limited companies
• Completing corporation tax returns
• Producing partnership and sole trader accounts and tax returns
• Ensuring completion of assignments within the appropriate budget and time frame
• Developing client relationships, and being their direct report on day-to-day queries.

• Supporting the management team with any ad hoc work that comes in from clients
• Helping to support the associate partner with work flow management.
• Assisting other members of the team by preparing management accounts and VAT if required
