Agency Cook – Care Home (Nottingham)

2–3 shifts per week | 07:30 – 17:30 | Weekly Pay | Immediate Start Available

We’re currently seeking a reliable and compassionate Agency Cook to join our team, supporting a care home based in Nottingham. With 2 to 3 shifts available weekly, this is a great opportunity for someone seeking a steady yet flexible role.

🔹 About the Role:

• Preparing and cooking balanced, nutritious meals for residents in line with dietary needs

• Adhering to food hygiene and safety standards at all times

• Managing kitchen cleanliness and ensuring proper stock rotation

• Working independently or with kitchen assistants as needed

• Catering to dietary requirements including allergies, soft diets, and diabetic meals

⏰ Shift Pattern:

• 07:30 AM – 17:30 PM

• 2–3 shifts per week (flexibility to pick up additional shifts when needed)

✅ Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a cook or chef

• Good understanding of nutrition, food safety, and special diets

• Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above preferred)

• Ability to work autonomously and follow menu plans

• A friendly and respectful attitude towards older people
