Assembly Operative / Fitter Wanted – Immediate Start!
Location: Leicester | 14.00 per hour
Type: Permanent - Full-time

Are you an experienced Assembly Operative/ Fitter? We are currently looking for a hard-working Assembly Operative / Fitter with proven hands-on assembly experience to join a growing team in Leicester. This role involves the assembly and installation of balcony systems, working from engineering drawings and using a range of materials including composite decking, glass and stainless steel components.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and is confident assembling structures from technical drawings.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assembling balcony systems from engineering drawings
• Working with composite decking, glass panels and stainless steel components
• Using hand and power tools to complete high-quality builds
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to specification
• Supporting the wider production and assembly team where required

Requirements

• Proven assembly / fitting experience
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and a good work ethic
• Comfortable working with a range of materials and tools
• FLT (Forklift Truck) licence advantageous but not essential
