Job Description:

ASSEMBLY OPERATIVE -  (Rotating shifts ) 6-2PM & 2 -10PM – Early finish Fridays

We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Assembly Operative for a large prestigious Engineering company based in Tamworth.  

This is a Temporary - Permanent role working Rotating shifts ) 6-2PM & 2 -10PM shifts With allowance PAy £14.83ph

Training for the first 2 months will be on DAYS

Monday – Thursday -07.00am - 16:00pm  & Friday 7.00am – 12.00 Noon pm

Pay rate £12.36ph 

Flexible working hours needed (weekend & shift working may be required)

Key Responsibilities

 Working on a fast paced production line

 Assembling and inspecting various parts

 Using hand and air powered tools

 Using torque wrenches & Measuring devices

 Reading and following instructions from drawings & manufacturing specs

 Identifying any scrap or rejects that do not adhere to standards and specifications

 Suggesting recommendations to improve quality and H & Safety processes 

 Quality inspect and final visual inspection of all parts 

Experience Required

Minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar Assembly and manufacturing environment

Must have a keen eye for intricate details for this role

You will need to have good communication and written skills

Heavy lifting will be involved in this role and you will be stood up most of the working day
