This is a hybrid position and is a vital role in our client's finance team in Nottingham.

Description

Assistant Accountant Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Ensure that deadlines are met
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Supporting with budgeting and forecasting
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations
• Business Partnering
• Support the wider finance function when required
• Transactional duties when required
• Adhoc duties

Profile

The successful Assistant Accountant:

• Experience in a similar position
• Actively studying towards CIMA / ACCA / ACA
• Experience in a commercial role
• Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices
• Proficient in accounting software
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proactive attitude
• Be local to Nottingham
