Assistant Management Accountant - Maternity Cover

We are currently seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join a well-established business in Tamworth on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is immediately available and eager to step into a hands-on finance role within a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations and accruals/prepayments
- Posting journals and supporting month-end processes
- Providing financial reporting and analysis to support business decisions
- Responsible for purchase and sales ledger
- Supporting audit preparation and liaising with external auditors
- Assisting with ad-hoc finance projects as required
