I am supporting a business in Loughborough with an exciting Assistant Management Accountant role. This is a role ideal for someone who is a AAT qualified (or at the latter stages of their qualification) looking for the next step in their career.

Description

The Assistant Management Accountant's duties include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and assist with monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes to aid in financial planning.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data integrity.
• Monitor and report on key financial metrics to support decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance function.
• Provide support during audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Profile

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

• A strong foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Relevant qualifications or part-qualification in AAT.
• Experience working in an accounting & finance environment.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Excel for financial analysis.
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
