I am delighted to be supporting a manufacturing business in their search for a permanent Assistant Management Accountant role in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for a part qualified ACCA or CIMA student with prior experience working in Manufacturing looking for progression.

Description

The Assistant Management Accountant's duties will include but are not limited to:

• Prepare daily reports including labour & material variance.
• Prepare general ledger duties - including journals, accruals, prepayments.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly accounts and ad hoc duties.
• Analysis, reconciliations and maintenance of provisions.
• Reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts.
• Supporting the preparation of overhead budgets, forecasts and variance analysis with budget holders.
• Other ad hoc duties.

Profile

A successful Assistant Management Accountant will:

• Be actively working towards an ACCA or CIMA qualification.
• Have hands on experience working in a finance manufacturing environment.
• Be highly analytical.
• Be proficient at using IT and ERP systems, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel packages.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
