Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Dynamic Role with Career Growth!
Location: Leicester / Ashby (Hybrid: 2 days home, 2 office, 2 site)
Salary£40,000 + Benefits + Guaranteed Bonus
Additional Benefits: £485 Monthly Car Allowance |  Private Health | Pension |  Yearly Bonus (5% of Annual Salary Paid in April & December)

The Role

You’ll be joining a collaborative and supportive commercial team, directly reporting to the Commercial Director, while receiving hands-on mentoring to sharpen your QS skills.
You’ll gain experience across a diverse range of sectors, working on live sites, in the office, and from home in a flexible 6-day work model:

•  2 Days from Home
• 2 Days from Office
• 2 Days on Site (where needed across the Midlands)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assisting in cost planning, tendering, procurement, and valuations.
• Working closely with senior team members on contract administration and project delivery.
• Managing project records, reporting on costs, and learning end-to-end commercial processes.
• Supporting key construction projects and ensuring value for money is delivered.

What We’re Looking For

• 2–4 years' experience in a construction environment (ideal for degree-qualified candidates ready to take the next step).
• Enthusiasm to grow within a structured, well-mentored team.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset.
