About the Role
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a high-profile residential development of 288 timber-frame homes in Sileby. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading housebuilder known for quality, sustainability, and innovation in modern methods of construction.

Working closely with the Site Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day management of site operations
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure work is completed to programme
• Maintain high standards of health & safety on site
• Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with specifications
• Support with site inspections and audits
• Help manage materials, logistics, and site resources efficiently
• Ensure excellent housekeeping standards are maintained
• Assist in resolving on-site issues quickly and effectively

Requirements

• Previous experience in a residential construction environment (housebuilding preferred)
• Knowledge of timber-frame construction (desirable but not essential)
• Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND in Construction or similar) advantageous

Certifications

• SMSTS or SSSTS
• CSCS Card
• First Aid at Work (preferred)
