Bandsaw Operative  
Location: Loughborough, LE11Hours: Monday to Friday 07.30 - 1630
Payrate £13.50 p/h

 Are you a skilled bandsaw operative looking for your next opportunity?
 
We're working with a well-established and growing engineering firm in Loughborough who are looking to add to their friendly team. This role offers great rates of pay, steady day shifts, and the opportunity to go permanent for the right person.
 
What You'll Be Doing

• Operate bandsaw machines to cut materials according to job specifications
• Measure and mark materials before cutting to ensure accuracy
• Set up and adjust the bandsaw (blade speed, angle, and guides) as required
• Inspect finished cuts for quality, accuracy, and defects
• Perform routine machine checks and basic maintenance (e.g. blade changes, cleaning)
• Follow all health and safety procedures, including wearing PPE

 - What We're Looking For

• Previous experience operating a bandsaw
• Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, or rulers
• Basic understanding of technical drawings or cutting lists
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
