Salary: £15 – £18 per hour (depending on experience)

The Opportunity
Our client is a well-established furniture manufacturing business specialising in the design and manufacture of fitted seating and bespoke furniture for the hospitality and leisure sector. Due to continued workload, they are looking to recruit an experienced Bench Joiner to join their workshop team with immediate effect.

Scope of Work
The role will involve the manufacture of high-quality bespoke furniture, including:

• Fixed and loose seating for bars, restaurants, and hotels

• Banquette and booth seating

• Upholstered seating frames

• Tables, bench seating, and bar furniture

• Bespoke cabinetry and associated joinery components

• Occasional specialist items to client specification

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a bench joinery or furniture manufacturing role

• Strong experience with laminating (essential)

• Ability to work from technical drawings and cutting lists

• High attention to detail and quality-focused workmanship

• Experience producing furniture for commercial / hospitality environments

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a workshop team

Qualifications

• Formal qualifications are not essential

• Proven hands-on experience is key
