BESS Technical Manager -  Battery Storage - Rugby - £40,000 - £55,000  
  
About the company
  
We're looking for a BESS Technical Manager to join a well-established, growing energy solutions business. You will be playing a key role in the growth and development of the Battery Energy Storage Systems engineering team.

This is a senior technical role with real influence, responsible for guiding engineering standards, mentoring engineers, and ensuring safe, high-quality execution as the business continues to scale. 
  
BESS Technical Manager - The Details

• Up to £55,000 basic salary 
• 8am - 4.30pm 
• Overtime available

BESS Technical Manager - Requirements & Responsibilities

• Min. 5 years BESS industry experience 
• Degree in Electrical Engineering 
• Manage, mentor and support BESS Engineers within the team 
• Provide technical guidance and professional development 
• Develop and deliver technical training programs 
• Help scale the engineering function in line with growing project pipeline 
• Provide training across different levels 
• Promote a strong safety-first engineering culture 
• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
• Customer-Focused with a commitment to delivering an excellent service
• Effective planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• A valid driving license with no more than 6 points
