Billing Clerk

We are recruiting a Billing Clerk on a temporary basis, with an immediate start.

About the Role
This is a hands-on, office-based billing position requiring a quick turnaround. The initial assignment is five days a week in the office, with flexibility to work one day remotely after the first month. At month-end and during the first week of each month, full office presence will be required. If the role becomes permanent, there may be scope to work up to two days remotely.

Key Details

• Rate: £13–15 per hour

• Start: ASAP

• Location: Office-based, ideally suited to someone local to minimise travel

• Duration: Temporary with potential for longer-term opportunities

Responsibilities

• Carrying out end-to-end billing tasks with accuracy and efficiency

• Ensuring smooth interlinks between billing, credit control and sales functions

• Producing accurate reports and maintaining detailed records

• Using Excel to a high standard, with excellent attention to detail

What We’re Looking For

• At least five years’ experience in a dedicated billing role 

• Strong systems knowledge with proven billing expertise

A confident, outspoken communicator who can work well with others
