Building Labourer (Building Services and Maintenance)

 About the Role:

The Building Services and Maintenance Department at one of my local goverment clients are seeking a hardworking and dependable Building Labourer to support its housing and public works programmes. You’ll assist skilled trades and site teams across a range of construction, repair, and maintenance tasks within the borough.

Key Duties:

• Support qualified tradespeople (e.g. bricklayers, plasterers, roofers) with day-to-day duties

• Assist with site prep, material handling, and general labour tasks

• Maintain cleanliness of tools, equipment, and work areas

• Carry out basic demolition, clearance, or groundwork as required

• Follow health and safety policies and site regulations at all times

• Contribute to the smooth delivery of planned and responsive maintenance services
