The Role – Business Development Manager
As a Business Development Manager, you will focus on driving new business growth and developing strong client relationships within the sportswear, workwear, and corporate wear markets. You will play a key role in growing market share, identifying new opportunities, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and convert new business opportunities across multiple sectors.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process – from prospecting and pitching to closing.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring repeat business and account growth.
- Present tailored sportswear, workwear, and uniform solutions to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Represent the company at client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Field Sales Executive, Account Manager, or Territory Sales Manager, ideally in sportswear, workwear, PPE, uniforms, or branded merchandise.
- Strong B2B sales background with a track record of winning new business.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and commercially focused.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
