Job Title: Business Manager

Location: Tamworth

Salary: £25k - £33K Per annum, depending on experience

Hours of Work: Flexible rota including weekends (5 days per week)

Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Start Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)

We are hiring for a Business Manager who has proven automotive sales experience and can work in a fast-paced, customer-focused dealership environment in Tamworth. This is a leadership role within the Finance & Insurance function where you will be driving department performance, mentoring the sales team, and ensuring customers fully understand all products and services purchased.

Duties of a Business Manager

In this role you will be working in the Sales & Finance team to maximise revenue while ensuring an exceptional customer journey. Reporting to the General Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Managing all aspects of the Finance & Insurance department
2. Supporting and developing the sales team to increase performance
3. Handling customer enquiries and presenting finance and insurance options clearly
4. Ensuring all customer agreements meet regulatory and compliance standards
5. Monitoring KPIs and implementing strategies to exceed targets

Skills and experience of a Business Manager

As a Business Manager, you need to have experience with:

1. A proven track record as an Automotive Sales Executive (minimum requirement)
2. Strong financial and commercial awareness

It would be beneficial to the Business Manager role if you also had:

1. Experience in a Business Manager or Sales Controller role
2. Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a sales team
3. Excellent organisational and communication abilities
