Buyer, LE67, Leicestershire.  £28,000 - £30,000 + Annual Bonus

• £28,000 - £30,000 As a rough guide + Bonus + wider company benefits + funding for training & professional memberships (They have previously paid to put employees through CIPS qualifications).

This Buyer job will suit:

• You will be pro-active, upbeat and want an exciting challenge. This is NOT a bog standard Buyer job!
• An Operational Buyer, Junior Buyer or someone looking to progress a career within purchasing based in Leicestershire.
• Good communication skills
• Excellent IT skills / Very Analytical – Ideally any Excel & spreadsheet knowledge (Pivot table / VLOOKUPS).  If you are analytical and like to manage data this will be a well suited role.
• You should be ambitious and want to progress your career. You will be pro-active and want a diverse role.
• We are very open to putting someone through further qualifications (maybe advancing your CIPS etc.) this is a progressive business which likes to invest in its staff.

The Buyer job will involve:

• Responsible for placing orders, managing stock levels, dealing with suppliers, managing documentation and data driven through an MRP system.
• Working closely with the commercial team to analyse how they can improve their business in terms of procurement (there is the chance to get involved in some strategic projects in this regard)
• Usage of the in-house ERP system
• Building strong relationships with suppliers in order to maximize performance.
• Working closely with the Sales team in order to support them with sourcing activity for large contracts and sales enquiries.
