£32,000 - £36,000 DOE

SF Recruitment are recruiting for a CAD Technician to join our client based in Shepshed, Leicestershire. This role would suit an already experienced CAD Technician or a Junior CAD Technician looking to progress in their career.

Responsible to:
Head of Design

Liaison Contacts:
Sales, Estimating, and Operations teams, Installation Teams

Job Summary:
Provide accurate drawings for construction projects and manufacturing.

Key Duties / Responsibilities
Responsibilities and Duties:
● Complete project specific drawings within agreed timescales and to the relevant product standard
● Complete manufacture drawings for bespoke products
● Work within the company teams to provide technical advice
● Offer proactive solutions to construction challenges
● Familiarisation with suppliers, specifications and prices
● Liaise directly with customers to provide accurate project drawings to their timelines
● Keep up to date with relevant British Standards
● Support project delivery at every stage to ensure deadlines are met
● Ensure client Specification and requirements are taken into account when producing project drawings
● Provide advice to Subcontract labour to ensure delivery onsite is as per the approved design and always compliant to all regulations and British Standards
● Provide support to your colleagues within the design team
● Any other reasonable duties within your skills and capabilities as directed by your manager
KPI's:
● Provisional drawings to be issued within 3 working days
● Drawing revisions to be issued within 2 working days
● Constriction drawings issued within 1 working day
● As Built Drawings issued within 3 working days

Experience Knowledge

● BSc in a construction design discipline (preferable)
● AutoCAD proficiency (essential)

Subsidiary duties / responsibilities
● Administrative duties as suitable within the design department
