£45,000 DOE

We're seeking a skilled Composite CAM Programmer to join our precision engineering team, supporting high-profile projects in the Automotive and Aerospace/Defence sectors.
The Role:
You will be responsible for programming 3+2 axis CNC machines using Hypermill and Vericut to produce complex, high-tolerance composite components. Working closely with manufacturing engineers and machinists, you'll ensure efficient toolpaths and optimise processes for quality, repeatability, and speed.
Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Create, optimise, and validate CAM programs for 3+2 axis machining.
• 
  Use Hypermill for toolpath creation and Vericut for simulation and verification.
• 
  Work from CAD models, drawings, and engineering specifications.
• 
  Collaborate with production teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.

About You:

• 
  Experienced CAM programmer with 3+2 axis CNC knowledge.
• 
  Strong background in Hypermill & Vericut software.
• 
  Understanding of composite machining processes.
• 
  Available to work on-site.
