
Job Title: Care Manager – Complex Care Service

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Manager to join our well-established complex care service in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate, organised and proactive professional who is committed to delivering exceptional care and support to individuals with complex health needs.
As the Care Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality care provision, leading and supporting a skilled care team, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory and organisational standards. You will work closely with service users, families, healthcare professionals and external agencies to create a safe, person-centred and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily running of the care service, ensuring high standards of person-centred care.
Lead, mentor, and develop the care team to maintain a positive, collaborative working culture.
Complete thorough care assessments and create tailored care plans for individuals with complex needs.
Maintain compliance with CQC requirements and support ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
Build effective relationships with service users, families and multidisciplinary teams.
Manage staff rotas, training and performance to ensure adequate staffing and skill levels.
Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting in line with company policies and regulatory standards.
Support safeguarding procedures and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
About You
Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a complex care, nursing or community-based care setting.
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards.
Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
Compassionate, approachable and committed to delivering outstanding care.
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Level 5 or willingness to work towards it is desirable).
