Description
Category Manager - Marketing - (Multiple Business)- End to end Procurement Management
- Develop and deliver category strategies for your assigned portfolio.
- Work with stakeholders up to Executive level, leveraging external insights and spend analysis to balance value and service.
- Champion procurement-led change across multiple businesses
- Lead and project manage workstreams to ensure timely delivery within governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, InfoSec, and Data Protection teams.
- Provide expert procurement guidance to stakeholders.
- Negotiate, select, and contract with suppliers to meet business objectives.
- Track and report on savings, ROI, and procurement KPIs.
- Manage key supplier relationships and develop strategic partnerships.
- Ensure outcomes are mutually beneficial and aligned with business priorities.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies within the organisation's risk appetite.
Profile
A successful Category Manager- Marketing should have:
- Proven expertise in Procurement Category Manager - Ideally in Marketing, or have touched upon this area
- Strong analytical skills and experience in market analysis.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management capabilities.
- Ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
- Knowledge of procurement policies and industry standards
