Location:          Test Kitchen in Leicester, with launch operations in London
Contract:          Consultancy Basis (3-6 months)

We are supporting the launch of an exciting new Indian fast-food concept, a bold, modern brand designed to bring the flavours, vibrancy, and soul of India’s most iconic dishes to a fast-paced UK market.
To help bring this vision to life, we are seeking an experienced Chef Consultant who can blend creativity with operational expertise. This is a rare opportunity to define the culinary and operational foundations of a concept that aims to reimagine Indian quick-service dining.

The Role
As Chef Consultant, you will be responsible for developing the full culinary direction of the brand. Your work will shape the menu, methods, operational flow, and ultimately the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and refine a range of Indian-inspired fast food dishes that are authentic, exciting, and scalable.
• Create detailed recipes, technical sheets, portion sizes, yields, and costings for each item.
• Recommend kitchen equipment and machinery suited to a high-volume, fast food environment.
• Support the creation of operational manuals, kitchen layouts, and workflow processes.
• Work closely with branding and operations teams to ensure the concept is efficient, deliverable, and true to its Indian roots.
• Assist in building an ingredient supply chain and ensuring menu consistency for future sites.

The Ideal Candidate

• Strong background in Indian cuisine with the ability to modernise dishes for a fast-food format.
• Experience in fast food, QSR, or large-scale production kitchens is highly desirable.
• Able to work autonomously to design menus, create processes, and guide operational setup.
• Excellent technical understanding of kitchen systems, equipment, and workflow design.
• Innovative, energetic, and excited about shaping a new brand identity.
• Based in (or able to travel regularly to) Leicester and London.
