- Provide clear, compassionate legal advice to clients in emotionally sensitive situations.
- Prepare court documents, statements, and evidence in a timely and thorough manner.
- Attend court hearings and conduct advocacy where appropriate.
- Liaise with social services, local authorities, guardians, and other professionals.
- Maintain high professional and ethical standards while delivering an exceptional level of client care.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and uphold the firm’s strong reputation in family and child care law.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with a current practising certificate.
- Children Panel Accreditation (Law Society Children Panel) — essential.
- Proven experience in public law children cases, ideally within a specialist family or care team.
- Strong advocacy skills and confident in conducting your own hearings.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client care skills.
- Ability to manage a busy and complex caseload independently.
- A team player with a proactive and empathetic approach.
What They Offer
- Competitive salary and benefits package.
- Ongoing professional development and support for continued accreditation.
- Friendly, supportive, and collaborative team culture.
- Opportunity to work on high-quality, meaningful cases that make a real difference in people’s lives.
