Job Description:

Quality and Training Manager Early Years

Location Leicester with national travel
Salary Competitive dependent on experience
Hours Full time
Contract Permanent

We are working with a growing early years group to recruit a Quality and Training Manager to support multiple nursery settings and drive standards, staff development and compliance across the organisation.

This is a senior operational role combining training delivery with quality improvement. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring each nursery meets and exceeds EYFS and Ofsted requirements, while supporting managers and teams to deliver outstanding care and education.

The role will involve working closely with nursery managers to identify training needs, design and deliver targeted training programmes, carry out quality audits and inspections, support curriculum development, and implement continuous improvement strategies. You will be responsible for monitoring performance, producing written reports, supporting Ofsted readiness, coaching staff and managers, and embedding best practice across all settings.

You will also design and deliver training courses, workshops and induction programmes, mentor learners and managers, oversee apprenticeships, and evaluate the impact of training on nursery performance. Strong communication and relationship building skills are essential, as you will be working across multiple sites and teams.

To be considered, you must hold a minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification and have strong occupational experience within childcare. You must also hold an assessor and teaching qualification and have experience designing and delivering training. A strong understanding of EYFS and Ofsted frameworks is essential, along with experience in quality monitoring, auditing or compliance within an early years setting. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required, as the role involves travel between nurseries. Strong ICT and communication skills are essential, and a commitment to ongoing professional development is expected.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced early years professional who is passionate about quality, training and improving outcomes for children, families and staff.
