Job Description:
My Client a Charity,looking for 18.5 hours a week , based in Coventry
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload ensuring each child/young people receives the appropriate service individual to her needs.
- To ensure the service is accessible to the diversity of black and minority ethnic of service users.
- To carry out regular risk assessment and safety planning with service users.
- To work with Safeguarding Adults and Children protocols and policies procedures and refer to safeguarding children’s board and children & young people’s team as appropriate.
- To recognize children’s individual needs, providing a short to medium term service to meet those needs and to work with them to identify their ‘support’ needs and incorporate these into women’s Individual Support Plans.
- To review each plan on a regular basis and keep updated individual Support and Safety Plans and maintain confidential files including computerized case management system
- To support users to move out of crisis and high-risk independence and self development.
- To lead in the delivery of a high-quality service, empowering women and children to develop their own coping strategies.
- To monitor and review own practice through evaluation and the use of agreed outcome measures.
- To develop and facilitate projects based on the needs of children and young people within the Community, including them in co-creation of services and support.
- To develop and maintain local networks and partnerships to encourage effective conversation around DA, engaging children and young people where appropriate.
