Position: Children, Young People and Family Refuge Practitioner (Maternity Cover)
Location: Leicester
Contract: Until February 2026, with potential for extension or permanent placement
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Belmont Recruitment is seeking a compassionate and experienced Domestic Violence Refuge Practitioner to support women and children in need. This maternity cover role plays a vital part in the effective operation of the refuge, with the possibility for a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
π Service Coordination - Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and safe service delivery.
π Service Development - Work with the team to assess needs and enhance services.
π Service Delivery - Provide direct support to women and children across two refuge sites.
π General Responsibilities - Contribute to the refugeβs safety and development.
