Job Description:

Accept Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 HGV driver to work with a leading recycling haulage client. The role involves operating walking floor vehicles, transporting recyclable materials efficiently and safely, with potential for overnight tramping routes.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate walking floor HGVs safely and professionally.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance.
• Collect and deliver recyclable materials to customer sites and depots.
• Complete accurate driver logs and paperwork.
• Work long days, with the possibility of multi-day tramping routes.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with Driver CPC.
• Experience driving walking floor vehicles preferred.
• Ability to work long shifts and occasional overnight trips.
• Safety-conscious, reliable, and flexible.
• Strong team-working skills.
