HGV Class 2 Driver – Temp to Perm
Location: DE24 8SR (Derby)
Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour
Start Time: Between 06:00 – 08:00

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our client based in Derby (DE24 8SR). This is a fantastic temp to perm opportunity offering consistent work, great pay, and a clear route to a permanent role after 12 weeks.

The job involves RDC (Regional Distribution Centre) work – no multi-drop and no handballing. You’ll be delivering to set locations with a manageable workload and supportive transport team. Start times are between 06:00 and 08:00, with some flexibility required depending on the route.

Key Details:

• Monday to Friday – weekends optional

• £16.00 per hour – paid weekly

• Temp to perm after 12 weeks

• RDC deliveries only – no multi-drop

• Working with a well-established, professional team

Requirements:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) license

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role

• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card

• Strong knowledge of driving hours and road safety regulations

• Punctual, professional, and ready to commit long-term
