Working Pattern: Full-time (5 days per week)
Contract Type: Supply / Long-term opportunity
Pay: Paid weekly via PAYE through TeacherActive

TeacherActive are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive Primary School in Coventry, who are looking to appoint a Class Teacher on a full-time basis.

Rather than recruiting for a fixed year group, the school are keen to appoint the right teacher for their setting. Following an interview and, where applicable, an observation lesson, the school will decide which year group best suits the successful candidate, based on experience, teaching style, and strengths.

This is a fantastic opportunity for both ECTs and experienced teachers who are looking for a long-term role where they can truly make an impact.

The successful candidate will take on the full responsibilities of a class teacher, including:

• Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum

• Assessing, tracking, and supporting pupil progress

• Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

• Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners

• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and senior leaders

• Taking part in staff meetings, planning, and school life where required

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Is confident planning and delivering lessons independently

• Is adaptable and open to teaching across different year groups

• Is organised, reflective, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning

• Is an ECT or experienced teacher seeking a full-time opportunity

• Is happy to work through TeacherActive and be paid via PAYE

• A DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new Enhanced DBS through TeacherActive

• Ability to provide two professional references to complete compliance
