Cleaner/Domestic Assistant

40 hours per week/Monday to Friday 8am till 5pm
Immediate Start | Temporary Role

Are you an experienced cleaner/domestic assistant ready for your next challenge? Our well-established client has a temporary requirement for an experienced cleaner/domestic assistant to join their friendly production and distribution Uppingham based site.

This is a hands‑on role where your expertise will play a key part in keeping quality standards high and a clean and tidy work area for their workforce.

The Role

As a valued member of the team, your day‑to‑day duties will include

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming, throughout the site including warehouse, production area, offices, canteen and toilets
• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
• Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and cleaning materials
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
• Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will have:

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently
• Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining cleanliness standards
• Ability to handle cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
