Job Title: CNC Grinder 
Location: Hinckley
Position: Permanent
Salary: £16.00 - £17.00 per hour + shift allowance 
Hours: Rotating Morning and Late shift

EMBS Engineering is seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Grinder to join a well-established  precision engineering company located in Hinckley This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the production of high-quality components and further develop your engineering expertise within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities of a CNC Grinder:

• Setting and operating CNC Grinding machines (including ring grinders and surface grinders)
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings
• Self-inspect own parts using manual measuring equipment
• Machining to tight tolerances to meet customer specifications 

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:

• Able to set and operate CNC Grinding machines, including cylindrical grinders, surface or ring 
• Worked with large components within precision engineering 
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings in metric and imperial measurements
• Confidence in self-inspecting own parts using manual measuring equipment
• At least 3 - 5  years of experience working in a similar role

Desirables: 

• Apprentice trained 

Essential Requirements:

• Unrestricted right to work in the UK
• Willingness to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
