The Role

They are seeking an experienced CNC Grinder to join their highly skilled team. You’ll be working primarily on a Makino CNC Grinding machine, but candidates with experience on other CNC Grinding machinery will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting and operating CNC Grinding machines to manufacture high-precision aerospace components.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ensuring all parts meet exacting aerospace quality standards.
• Carrying out in-process inspections and making adjustments where required.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and efficient working environment.

About You

They are open to candidates from a variety of CNC Grinding backgrounds. Whether you’re already familiar with Makino machinery or bring transferable experience from other CNC Grinders, they will provide the training to help you succeed.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience in CNC Grinding within a precision engineering environment (aerospace background preferred).
• Ability to work to tight tolerances and read complex engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and develop further.
