CNC Grinding - Tool cutter

Job Description:

This amazing long-term contract role for a CNC Tool Cutter Grinding is a unique opportunity to showcase your expertise and skills with a world leading F1/motorsport business, based in Brixworth, Northamptonshire.

You will be a key member within the team and the person that secures this position will be crucial to the success of the team on its F1 and Advanced Engineering projects.

The role is based 100% on site in Brixworth and in this position you will be responsible for the manufacture and modification of Machine Cutting Tools within a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining the required quality standards.

We're looking for a candidate who has good experience in manufacturing or modifying Machine Cutting Tools to the required quality standards, while making use of CAD/CAM systems and drawings as appropriate

Ideally, we're looking for a candidate with good knowledge and experience in Tool Cutter Grinding and also be able to:

• Set, operate and program CNC Cutter grinding machines

• Set, operate and program CNC Inspection equipment

• Adhere to, create and maintain standard operating procedures for machine processes and operations

• Liaise with other departments (e.g. Quality, Engineering) to ensure the development of the product is optimised

• Contribute to Continuous Improvement activities.

• Adhere to all relevant Health & Safety legislation, the company Quality Management System (QMS) and all relevant company processes and policies.

• Maintenance of allocated equipment through designated TPM controls and timely reporting of issues.
