Job Description:

CNC Laser operator - team member

Shift Rota 

Rotating shifts 

6am - 2pm and 2pm -10pm 

Qualifications 

Metal only CNC background.

Vernier gauge measuring equipment experienced 

Read engineering drawings. 

Physically fit and capable of lifting 25kg.

Good math and communication skills.

Polite and professional 

Capable of working to a planning list. 

Capable of working to 0.2 of a mm accuracy. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Machine Operation: Setting up CNC laser cutting machines, loading materials, and initiating the cutting process according to specifications. 

• Material Handling: Loading and unloading materials, potentially including heavy sheets of metal. 

• Quality Control: Inspecting finished parts for accuracy and adhering to quality standards. 

• Maintenance: Performing basic maintenance on the laser machine and troubleshooting issues. 

• Safety: Adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines related to laser operation and material handling. 

• Programming: In some cases, CNC laser operators may be responsible for programming the machine, especially at a more advanced level. 

• Collaboration: Working with other team members to ensure production goals are met.
