The Role
You will play a key part in producing complex, high‑precision components for demanding applications. Responsibilities include:
- Manufacturing one‑off and small‑batch precision parts from a variety of aerospace‑grade materials.
- Setting and operating both manual and CNC turning or milling machines.
- Delivering consistently high‑accuracy work.
- Interpreting detailed engineering drawings with confidence.
- Working with control systems such as Fanuc, Siemens, or XYZ.
- Performing precise inspection and measurement using tools such as micrometers, verniers, and plug gauges.
Key Skills & Experience
- At least five years’ experience in a precision machining environment, specialising in turning.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing methods and the ability to read technical drawings.
- Proven capability to machine complex components to tight tolerances, accurately and efficiently.
- Commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
- A proactive, detail‑focused, and solution‑driven mindset.
