CNC Mill-Turn 5 Axis Programmer

Our Client, a growing precision machining company on the outskirts of South Derbyshire, is looking to add an experienced CNC / CADCAM Programmer to their team. Operating out of a state of the art facility with a vast range of complex and up to date machinery. The ideal candidate will have experience with creating CNC Programs using CAD/CAM software, Configuration of Mill-turn machines and optimization of tool paths and machining strategies for efficiency and precision. CNC Mill-Turn 5 Axis Programmer

• Programming CNC Machines using CADCAM Software
• Developing CNC programs using CAD/CAM software
• Optimization of tool paths and machining strategies for efficiency and precision.
• Interpreting engineering/ design drawings and working to tight tolerences
• Set-up of mill-turn machines including tool selection, offsets, and work holding.
• Monitoring of machining processes to ensure quality and allow troubleshooting of issues.
• Working closely with Production, Engineering and Quality to improve efficiency
• High attention to detail to ensure components are machined to the highest quality
