CNC Miller – Night Shift

Job Description:

Mazco Recruitment are working with a leading precision engineering company in Coventry who are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Miller for their night shift team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist with strong programming, setting and operating experience on multi-axis milling machines.

The Role

You will be responsible for machining high-precision components using 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC milling machines with Fanuc or Haas controls. The role requires a machinist who can confidently work from engineering drawings and take ownership of the machining process from programming through to final inspection.

Key Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines

• Working with Fanuc or Haas controls

• Machining components on 3, 4 and 5 axis machines

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

• Selecting tooling and optimising machining processes

• Ensuring parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards

• Carrying out basic inspection using standard measuring equipment

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Miller

• Ability to program, set and operate CNC machines

• Experience with Fanuc or Haas controls

• Experience machining on 3, 4 and 5 axis milling machines

• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances

• Self-motivated and able to work independently on a night shift
